Singing micePOST-EPHIPANY CONCERT

We look forward to seeing everyone at our concert on January 11th in the church (main nave) at 6:00 pm.

Our school choir and students in grades one through four will be performing. Other students in grades five and six are invited to perform if they wish.  Please contact Mr. Hoffer at [email protected] for details/information.

Please have your child(ren) assemble in the narthex at 5:45 pm.  “Sunday best” dress is requested for this event, which should last until approximately 6:45 pm.

Please help us welcome Ms. Laura Longoria to SLCS!  On January 2nd, upon our return from Christmas break, Ms. Laura Longoria joined our staff as our new PE Teacher’s Aide. She is excited to become a full-time member of our staff.

Catholic Schools Week is celebrated from January 29th through February 2nd this year.  Please watch for details of our planned events in next week’s Cougar News.

Tuesday, January 30th ~ Tech Day (Hour of Code; Creators Fair)

Wednesday, January 31st ~ STEAM Bowl (think Family Feud!) Details and permission forms coming home soon.

Thursday, February 1st ~ Science/Math Day; Faculty/Staff vs. 8th Grade Volleyball Game; Bring a Friend to School Day (details and forms to follow)

Friday, February 2nd ~ Cougar Pride Day (focus on Religion); Mass; Faith Families; Grandparent’s/Grand-friend’s Brunch; Pep Rally

Lost and FoundLOST AND FOUND

Lost and Found is located in the Gym locker rooms and is overflowing with uniform items as well as jackets and other outerwear.  Please take a moment to stop by before January 12th.  After that date all items will be cleaned by volunteers and redistributed if they are labeled with names.  Uniform items without names will be donated to the used uniform closet.  All other items will be donated to a local charity.

Notes & Reminders:

~ We are asking that all visitors to the school bring their Driver License when checking in.  We are updating the information in our Raptor sign-in system and find that some of our information is no longer current.  We appreciate your help in this endeavor!

~ Lunch money reminder.  Fall semester lunches ended 12/14/17.  Pre-paying by the semester saves you money and time.  Would it make your life easier to send one check, payable to St. Louis Catholic School, in the amount of $410.40 for the second semester?  This amount includes the 10% semester discount!
