Grandparent’s / Grand-Friend’s Day
Every Friday in October
Fridays in October will be dedicated to our Grand-parents and Grand-friends this year. Please plan to join us this week for Mass followed by coffee and pastries in the Administration Bldg. and visits to your grandchild’s class. We hope you can join us!
If you have a Grand who might come to visit, please call the school office and let us know. We thank you, in advance!
ST. LOUIS NIGHT AT THE MOVIES

In commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Blessed Mother’s Apparition at Fatima, the double feature shown will be: The 13th Day and Finding Fatima. Join usSaturday, October 14th, following the Vigil Mass in Wozniak Hall. POPCORN provided by the St. Louis Home and School Association. Outside snacks and drinks will be allowed but NO ALCOHOLIC beverages please. There will be DOOR PRIZES given away that evening. Admission is free.

Annual Fund Phone-a-thon is happening on Wednesday October 18th. Between 6:30-7:30 PM a representative from your child’s class will be calling to let you know what is going on at SLCS and to talk to you about our Annual Fund. To opt out, send in your pledge form today!

Please join us for our next official Kendra Gives Back Party on Monday, October 23rd!
20% of the proceeds from this event benefit St. Louis Catholic School. What a great way to help support our school!
3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
The 3 on 3 basketball tournament is soon. October 21, 8:15 – 4:30 pm.
We need your help to make it a success. All proceeds from this tournament will be used for improving the gym, fields, and athletic facilities which are used by all students.
1. It’s not too late to register. $99 deadline extended.
(all ages PK-senior citizens can play) 4 players per team

Montessori – 2nd grade: 1 case of water
3rd – 8th grade: 8 pack (or more) of gatorade – any color
3. Become a Sponsor (form attached) or sponsor a team.
4. Let us borrow your basketball goal. We will pick up and bring it back to you.

Friday, October 27th
Individual student photos and class photos will be taken this date. Students must wear their Mass uniforms for photos. Middle School students will be allowed to change into polo’s (girls) and remove their ties (boys) after photos.
Order information can be found in today’s Wednesday envelope. Please call the school office with any questions.

Hello SLCS Community! Booster Club has NEW Spirit Items in stock: t-shirts, bags, seat cushions, and hand clappers. Get your hand clappers ready for next week’s Pep Rally!! There will be samples in Mrs. Howard’s Office. Come stop by to take a look.
The Pep Rally will take place in the gym on October 20th at 2:15 pm. We hope to see you there!

We have scrip cards for groceries, gas and retail. We stock VISA & Amazon scrip cards too! When you are shopping, why not support our school at the same time.

~ Our Halloween Parade will take place on October 31st and begin at 2:30 pm. Montessori, Pre-K and Kindergarten will participate. Join us if you can!
~ Wednesday, 10/18, SLCS students in Montessori, Pre-K and Kindergarten will join ECDC students in touring a Fire Truck on campus. Stay tuned for photos!
~ St. Michael’s Future Crusader Volleyball Night: Friday, October 17
Come cheer on the Lady Crusaders as they take on St. Dominic Savio. JV will play at 6:00pm, with our Varsity State Champs beginning at 7:30pm. Prospective families will receive complimentary admission, concessions, and spirit gear. RSVP at smca.com
“Tell Me About SMCA” Luncheon: Thursday, October 19, Noon until 2 pm
Parents of prospective students are invited to attend the “Tell Me About SMCA” luncheon on Thursday, October 19, from noon until 2:00 pm. Prospective parents will have an opportunity to visit with current SMCA faculty and parents, as well as participate in a student-led campus tour. Come learn more about our winter term, rotating class schedule and award winning academics, athletics and fine arts programs. RSVP at smca.com
