Are you attending Mass at St. Louis on September 30th or October 1st? If so please ask your children to wear their SLCS uniform and help Mrs. Chaffee distribute Annual Reports in the Narthex.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Anyone interested in the Catechesis of the Good Shepard are invited to an introduction and open house for the work and ministry in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd on Friday, October 6 at St. Louis Catholic Church and School. The evening is dedicated to introducing those who are new to this ministry and to those who are discerning formation as a catechist.
The session will begin at 5:00. Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to get settled. The class will be held in the Parish Education Center which is the stone chapel shaped building off of the St. Joseph Drive entrance to the St. Louis campus. Room 201 is upstairs. Please note that there is not an elevator to this second floor.

Grandparent’s / Grand-Friend’s Day
Every Friday in October
Fridays in October will be dedicated to our Grand-parents and Grand-friends this year. Please plan to join us this week for welcome coffee and pastries in the Administration Bldg. and visits to your grandchild’s class. Don’t forget to pop into the Fall Book Fair in the Library/Media building. This first Friday’s Mass will be Thursday, October 5th at 6 pm. We hope you can join us!
If you have a Grand who might come to visit, please call the school office and let us know. We thank you, in advance!
Robotics will begin Tuesday, October 24th through December 5th. This program will run from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.

We have scrip cards for groceries, gas and retail. We stock VISA & Amazon scrip cards too! When you are shopping, why not support our school at the same time.
Find more info on our scrip program in the ‘For Parents’ section of the school’s website. SCRIP cards are available in the school office and after weekend English masses.

“Tell Me About SMCA” Luncheon: Thursday, October 19, Noon until 2 pm
Parents of prospective students are invited to attend the “Tell Me About SMCA” luncheon on Thursday, October 19, from noon until 2:00 pm. Prospective parents will have an opportunity to visit with current SMCA faculty and parents, as well as participate in a student-led campus tour. Come learn more about our winter term, rotating class schedule and award winning academics, athletics and fine arts programs. RSVP at smca.com
