For our Veteran’s Day Mass on Friday, all students in Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts are strongly encouraged to wear their scout uniforms. For boys, this would be you Class A uniform shirt and kerchief with your school Mass pants. For girls, this would be wearing your sash or vest over your school Mass uniform.

COME TO THE KING’S TAVERN!
The entire St. Louis parish and school community is invited to The King’s Tavern at Casa Chapala to eat and drink at happy hour prices, hear a talk about how God works in our lives, and spend some time making friends within the parish and school community. Catholic theology, beer, and good food. A heavenly combination!
Next Monday, November 13th, Fr. James will talk about “Living a Moral Life: How ought we live in the world today?” All are welcome to attend, and the evening is family friendly.
We’d love to see you at Casa Chapala next Monday at 6:30pm. Happy Hour prices last until 7:30pm when Fr. James begins his talk. The night wraps up shortly after that, but you’re free to stay as long as Casa Chapala is open. See you Monday!

Notes & Reminders:
~ Cooler weather is here! Please be sure your child(ren)’s clothing is marked with their name. This includes jackets and sweaters! Anything lost, but labelled, has a better chance of making it home. Gentle reminder: non-Parker outerwear is not allowed in the classrooms. These items may be worn when going outside the buildings to lunch or church.
~ The Box Tops Contest Winner is Grade 2 – Mrs. Fletcher’s class. They collected 2,864 box tops and will have a cupcake or ice cream party soon! Be sure to label your box tops when sending them to school.
~ Charming Charlie Fundraiser, this coming Saturday, November 11th from 10 am to 9 pm. This is at the Domain location only and online orders to not receive credit. The Domain location is at 3220 Feathergrass Court, Suite 112 near Burnet Road and Braker Lane. Be sure to let the cashier know that you are with St. Louis ECDC so they receive credit for your purchase. We thank you in advance!
~ Information will be sent home this Friday regarding our upcoming participation in the Figúralo art exhibit at the Mexican American Cultural Center. Watch for details!
~ Students in grades 5 through 8 brought home copies of forms requiring signatures. Both the Acceptable Use Policy and Telecommunication Guidelines are required on file, with signatures, in the school office. Copies are attached today for your convenience.
~ CONGRATULATIONS to two of our SLCS Alumni! Emily Basquez and Minh Mather. Both attend St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School and are receiving National Merit Recognition this year. Way to go!!
