Cougar News September 13, 2017
The mission of St. Louis Catholic School is to prepare the leaders
of tomorrow with the light of Christ as their guide.
Iowa Achievement Testing
Iowa Achievement Testing will be administered to all students in grades 1 ~ 8 beginning the week of September 18th until 10:30 ~ 11:00 am.
Please avoid making doctor or dental appointments before 11:00 am in order to minimize make-up testing. 100% attendance is our goal!
Several important things to remember during test week, and starting this week if possible:
Get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, plan a snack to bring each testing day, and have a handy supply of #2 sharpened pencils for testing.
~ Scholastic Fall Book Fair ~
It is that time of year again: time for the Scholastic Book Fair, which will be held the week of October 2 – 5.
I am sending out an early plea for volunteers to give of your time and talents to make this a successful book fair. We will need people to help with set-up, floor walking, cashiering, and tear-down. Volunteers will need to be EIM trained. Helping with the book fair satisfies hours for parent volunteer hours, as well. To volunteer, contact Brian Kemp in the library in person, call 512/614-6622 X256, or e-mail [email protected]. Thank you!
Green and White Night
The Green and White Night Committee will have their next meeting on Thursday, September 14, from 6:30PM to 8:00PM in Wozniak Hall (meeting room 3). Please come learn how you can get involved in this important event for our school! We hope to see you there! Questions? Email [email protected] or contact Stephanie Mayes (503)867-2170/Barbara Friesenhahn (512)426-2759.
