A special jeans day (and St. Louis Fun Fest or “Spirit Wear” shirt) for All for Books will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd. As an extra incentive, there will be two book bundle drawings for those who fill out a donation slip and give a dollar (or more) to the All for Books program, which can be used towards purchases at the book fair.

Book fair preview day is Monday, October 2nd.  Book fair sales will be held on October 3rd ~ 6th.   The book fair will be open on Friday 10/6 until 12 Noon.  October 6th is also Grandparent’s / Grand-Friend’s Day at SLCS!

PSIA Information for 2017 – 2018

PSIA is a nonprofit education organization serving all privately-schooled grade 1–8 students in Texas. Offering 59 academic contests in Math, Science, Language Arts, Speech, Social Studies, and Fine Arts since 1998, PSIA remains the most comprehensive academic extracurricular program in America for students in grades 1 through 8.

PSIA is open to any student grade 1-8.

Practices are determined by the coach.

Cost is $25 per event, per child.

Studying for these events takes practice and dedication, and for that reason there is a 3 event limit (One Act Play excluded).

Only 3 contestants per event per grade compete at District. A ‘regional’ meet will be held in December for any event with more than 3 per grade.

District Meet is March 3, 2018 at Regents School of Austin.

State Meet is in April 28, 2018 at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

A description of each event is included in the sign up form.
