Got Books? Fall Book Fair Begins Next Week!
We need your help! The fall Scholastic Book Fair is next week, beginning October 2nd. Set-up and preview will be on Monday, October 2nd and we begin selling on Tuesday, going through noon on Friday, followed by tear down Friday at noon. If you are available to help set up or pack up, please let Mr. Kemp know! Show the students at St. Louis that reading is important by helping make this a successful book fair. As always, verification of EIM training is required, and if you need to get some volunteer hours in, this is a great way to do it.
The book fair is a great way to get high quality, fun books to keep students reading! Books also make great birthday and holiday gifts. What’s more, purchases at the book fair are the primary source of revenue for the library’s operating costs each year. The book fair will be open Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 until 4:00, and Friday from after Mass until noon in the library building. Please look at the list of books your student(s) list on their wish list and help them choose the books they can get, then send the appropriate amount of money, including tax. Even better, come with them after school to look at the great selection of books with them. Help sustain the library and get great reading material in the hands of your children at the same time by going to the book fair next week!
