Cougar News         January 31, 2018

The mission of St. Louis Catholic School is to prepare the leaders

of tomorrow with the light of Christ as their guide.

I write to inform you that Mrs. Barbara Fletcher, our Second Grade Teacher, left employment at St. Louis Catholic Church and School on 1/26/2018. I would like to thank Mrs. Fletcher for her service and contribution to St. Louis Catholic School. Please join me in wishing Mrs. Fletcher success in her future endeavors. We all pray that God will bless her as she moves onward.

Thursday, February 8th is a jeans day for all students who wore their school uniforms to mass, at any Catholic church, for Open House Sunday (1/28).  Traditional jeans day dress code applies.  Feel free to call the school office with questions.

It ‘s that time of year again. Flu, head lice and strep throat are common occurrences as our children are more confined to their classrooms. Please make sure your children are washing their hands often. Students should not share hats, scarves or water bottles. If your child develops a fever of 100 degrees or above they need to stay home until they have been fever-free for 24 hours.

We appreciate your diligence in keeping our St. Louis family healthy this winter.  Thank you!

Green and White NightGREEN & WHITE NIGHT – FEBRUARY 10, 2018

Green & White Night is fast approaching. An anonymous donor is matching our net proceeds from GWN. This is a TREMENDOUS opportunity. The deadline to reserve your seat is February 5th.

Can’t make it? Please still consider making a monetary or Paws-up donation. What’s Paws-up? Paws-up is donation to St. Louis for a specific cause. Each year, St. Louis determines a specific need for the school. The School Library needs a facelift. We are working to make it more relevant for our youth in the 21st Century. We especially need to update and supplement our book collection.

Reserve your seat or make a donation online at or save the credit card fee and drop off a check at the school office.

UT Professors present their Physics Circus at St. Louis tomorrow, 2/1, at 8 am.  Please join us in the gym if you can, for this wonderful demonstration!  Thank you to Mrs. Melissa Bendele for arranging this opportunity for our school.
