Save aluminum pull tabs and send to the school office.  The tabs are sold to an iron/metals company and the credit goes to support our local Ronald McDonald House.

Thank you students and parents for collecting Box Tops For Education – BTFE. So far we’ve earned $287.50 of our goal of $1,000 this year. Please continue to clip them put them in a plastic baggie/envelope with your child’s classroom information and turn them in to their teacher or the school office. Please submit by February 26th. We will celebrate the winning class with a BTFE treat.”

Many thanks to our families, faculty and staff for an awesome Catholic Schools Week this year.  Our faculty and staff had fun planning and participating in the fun.  We hope you enjoyed the different events held at school this year.  We appreciate you and all you do for our Catholic school!

Run Club begins again on Wednesday, February 21st.  This session will run for 12 weeks from 3:30 – 4:30 pm.  The fee is $20.  Cash is accepted and checks should be made out to Elena Castillo.  If you have questions, or would like additional information, please email Ms. Elena at elena.castill[email protected].

Reminder: The 2018-2019 school year enrollment begins our new continuous enrollment program at SLCS.  We want to remind everyone that March 15, 2018 is the date the non-refundable early enrollment fee of $285.00 per student will be deducted via parent’s FACTS accounts.  This will hold your child’s spot for the 18-19 school year.

If you provide notification of withdrawal by March 1st, you may still enroll your child after March 15th if space is available.  The regular enrollment fee of $335.00 per student will be required at this time.

Tuition assistance will continue to be available to those needing assistance.  The process to apply for tuition assistance requires that a family complete a FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment form by February 1, 2018 in order to be included in the review of applicants.  Notification typically comes at the end of the schoolyear.

Thank you once again for all you do for this wonderful school community.  Your partnership is essential in making SLCS the destination school of the Diocese of Austin as we endeavor to create the leaders of tomorrow with the light of Christ as their guide.

Join the St. Louis Farm crew on March 3rd and 10th, from 8 am to 12 pm, for our 5th Annual Spring Work Days!

Spring is springing, and with it a new planting season. We need your help these first two Saturdays of March to prepare the fields for warmer weather and yummy crops like tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants.

If you’re new to our ministry, it’s a great way to get involved in the church community! Working with an intergenerational team from babies to seniors, our growing ministry is able to supply fresh vegetables to the Food Pantry year round!

Come when you can and help as you’re able — we’ll have tacos, snacks, water, good conversation, and lots to do! We’re located at the back of the school playground, near the corner of St. Joseph and Hardy. Any questions? Contact us at [email protected].

If you attend SLCS and need volunteer credit Farm Day hours would be accepted.  Did you know you may earn up to 25% of your hours in any ministry of St. Louis Parish?

Do you shop on Amazon? If yes, it is easy to support SLCS with each purchase. A few minutes to set up is all it takes. If you type in the word ‘smile.’ before, you will be brought to the same Amazon site, but on the fundraising side.

You can see the sites look almost the same…except for the ‘smile.’  The first time you go to the ‘Smile’ side, you will be asked to choose the organization that you want to support. Search for “St. Louis Catholic School Trust” and you will be able to select the school. Then just use Amazon like you always have. Everything is exactly the same. (Change your bookmark so that you go to the Smile site. We only get credit if you order from the Smile side. It must say ‘‘ every time.) Do you have family and friends that wouldn’t mind taking a minute and choosing St. Louis? It costs the purchaser nothing but benefits our school.  We thank you in advance for supporting our school!
